Rob La Terra (he/him) is a Film Director & Editor with an earnest and humanist approach to storytelling across direction, editing, and other realms of ‘behind lens’ creation. Based between Australia and the US, Rob has built a reputation as a meticulous industry professional through narrative film and television, independent creative briefs, branded commercials and content. He has worked with clients across various industries, including Australian fashion, food, and retail, as well as globally recognized brands such as Tinder, Champion, Samsung, Chandon, Aesop, and La Mer.
Rob intentionally works with an inclusive and diverse community of creative specialists and remains a champion for a progressive film industry that embodies these values. When he’s not artfully straddling the grey area between bowl of Arrabiata two and bowl of Arrabiata too-many, you’ll find Rob romanticising his Italian heritage, rewatching his favourite dark comedies and sitcoms – and praying you won’t ask him what his favourite movie is.
